Probably i am more vocal compared to other girls.
And this explain why i hang out more with boys than girls.

Generally, guys are more steady and has more freedom.

Its NOT the Undang-undang Malaysia that friends has to be the same gender.
Hanging out with those people i like is a type of human right.

Besides, i really enjoy the freedom of speech and expression of sarcasm when mamak-ing with my friends of opposite gender. (most guys has muka tebal & batu hati to tahan sarcasm)

and what i'm doing does not cross the boundaries.

Tanjung Tuan Light House, PD *continue*

Its my 4th working day at KC!!

Im happy with the job...

But not the traffic!!

Guess i just have to get over it.

Anyway, back to my trip in PD

Its located about 2-3 km from the Ostrich farm.

It took us awhile to find it cause it was hinden in deep bushes.

Lolz.

Its located in the same vicinity of the Taman Simpanan Port Dickson

What added to the trip was, we saw the National Service campsite.

Journey up to the lighthouse wasn't easy.

1st day at Kimberly-Clark

3 hours.....
Its 3 hours i spent on the road just to get to work!
SO CRAZY!!

I know traffic jam is a norm in KL and especially during peak hours.
But just imagine, 3 hours journey is equivalent to a trip to Ipoh or Melaka or a return trip to Genting Highland or a return trip to Port Dickson!!!

It just drive me crazy to think bout it.....

1 1/2 hour per trip.
.
2 trips per day
.
5 days per week.
.
4 weeks per month!!
.
JUST STUCK IN THE JAM!!

Haihhhh................
Then you should consider taking public transport?!!?

My answer : Its just the same 3 HOURS !!......
CAUSE its INCONVENIENT.

My work place is in Kelana Jaya.
Taking lrt from my place would means i have to interchange at Masjik Jamek.

20 mins from my place to Jamek.
20 mins from Jamek to Kelana.
20 mins waiting for shuttle to office
ADD........
plus minus walking and waiting time at lrt station.

This would sum up almost the same 3 HOURS taken as stuck in the jam!!

My 1st working day was GREAT!!
Besides having free Bak Kut Teh for lunch today,
my colleagues are all nice people.
All friendly and patient =)

This is so far the most interesting temporary work i've done.
Im hired for a position more than just being an ordinary clerk.
No "soh poh" job doing photocopy job, filing and all "cow" work.

This is different!!!

I've learn so much today. Adding new knowledge bout supply chain, the customer management system, logistics, stock check with supplier and warehouse....etc....
.
Just throw the traffic jam away, i guess i quite like this job "so far"............
(just 1st day, cant predict the future)

Port Dickson

Trip to Port Dickson on the 4th day of Chinese New Year!

The plan was made just the night before!~ as crazee as it always be.....

Our trip begin after mountain climbing at Bukit Putih, Cheras (Apek San)

It was my 1st time there and it was where my addiction begin!

.

Right after shower at TJ's,

We headed down to Serdang to pick up WYC and for chicken rice lunch.

PD here we come................

The 1st attraction that we went was the Ostrich Farm.

The entrance charge was RM10 but with my charm

(student rate) was only RM8.

Comparing to Zoo Negara, you pay RM10 to visit the WHOLE ZOO,

RM8 i would say rather expensive just to see ostrich.
But we're already there.

So what's RM8?!!

However, ostrich wasn't the first thing we saw once we enter the farm.

Then the ostrich which we fed with corns.

They were really ganas pecking our hands.

Im not sure if its a keldai or anak kuda.

Its our Malaysia's very own Night Safari at Zoo Negara,Hulu Kelang!!

Unbelievable!! the trip has been 2 years back!! (makes me sound so old ledi)

Anyway, it was really a fun trip consisting of 3 monkeys visitng their friends.

I've been to 3 to 4 interviews and yet to receive any reply....

Im so00o0o0o discourage now.... but not really to the extend of wandering on the road NAKED!

Btw, i went for an interview at Totco yesterday, a stationery wholesaler office for a general cleark position.

Results: Err.... Sook Yee.... I think you're overqualify for our position. I think you can get a better job then this.

But......

I was just applying with a diploma... I seriously didn't know that diploma is too much for a general clerk position.

Im so discourage......

Holiday is slowing down!!

Holidays are slowing down after many weeks of hectic outings!!

Beginning with trip to Kuantan
Then Chinese New Year,
Trip to Genting Highlands,
Trip to Port Dickson,
Trip to Melaka,
Mountain climbing
House warming party
Crazee gambles

and now

Job interviewSSS.

Its just weird when i have less nap during my holidays compared to college days.

I used to sleep at least 2 hours per day per nap, but now i can barely find the time until these few days.

Reason: Im always out somewhere doing something.

For today, i've just went for another round of mountain climbing.
Guess i've been addicted to it ever since being introduced by TJ.
Anyway, its a good addiction and a good way to build up my stamina for Mount KK.

I just love the nature.

Love the friendly aunties & uncles up the hill.

More importantly the beautiful Gong Xi Fa Cai song sang by a uncle going up the hill.
Its really entertaining when there's no radio.
It sounds like ochestra based singer.

Btw, talking bout the interviews that i've been.

I've learn 2 lessons!!

1st.....

Please do not simply go for any interview at any UN-estsblished a.k.a UN-famous company cause it may turn out to be a scam.
Do not go for a company name GMM at Wisma Cosway.
Its a UN-professional cheatter.
Luckily Sook Yee is smart enough not to fall into their trap.

2nd lesson......

Always say you're working for long term even when you're not.
I was rejected from a job cause im too honest....... saying that im just looking for temporary job. Else i could have earn RM1550 already!!

As for now, im waiting for reply from 1U.
Hoping to get the data entry job there.
Otherwise i'll be jobless and have to balik kampung to Kuantan.

21st Birthday Day

My 21 st birthday was last year.
Without realising it, im no longer a teen.
I know its kinda outdated to post this up. But what the hack, im just having too much time now.

ITS HOLIDAYS!!!

For those who don't know bout this, im actually having 3 months hols now. Supposingly its industrial training period but i did not go for it.

Btw, the important part is that im DARN FREE now, and if you happen to have any plans to anywhere at anytime, just gimme a ring.

Be it shopping anywhere, makan anything, minum , trip-trip to any states in Malaysia, jogging, badminton, mount climbing, swimming or even lending a ear to you as love failure consultant etc... I promise i'll be there =p

Back to the main dish of this post.
It has been 6 months back when i was STILL young, beautiful, gorgeous and attractive *puke*

My 21st birthday was celebrated with my family members and a few friends. Its kinda last minute to this plan. Not knowing who to invite other than family members. So i just called up a few friend.

My appology to those i did not invite. Its not because i don't consider you as my close friend but i just don't know who to invite.

Firstly, being a host i always have this feeling of "paiseh" not knowing exactly if my guest feel goods. Moreover, my reban a.k.a house has limited space to fit huge number of people.

Secondly, i was afraid of rejection. Its not a good feeling when inviting friends whom you consider close to you but they do not feel the same. Worst, when they called up last minute to FFK!!!

3rd Day of CNY in Genting

Its was a one day trip to genting.

Though i have turn 21 last year,
Though i have entered a casino in cruise ship before

But this is my FIRST time entering casino in the land of MALAYSIA!!

Btw, to make it clear here. Im nothing like any other gambler there. Im not crazy into gambling like my grandma, aunties and brothers who loss alot to the Lim's family.

My duty for the day in the casino was basically to take care of my grandma. Make sure that she's not lost physically and financially in the jackpot section.

So what we did there was "pressing the jackpot button together while sharing the same chair"

I bet other people around must be thinking that this two grandma and grand-daugther darn crazee gamber. Cause we're all so excited when we got the free games and looking at the winnings we have.

Happy Chinese New Year

Today its the 2nd day of CNY and i've already loaded my stomach with lotsa lotsa food!!

All started at the Reunion Dinner at my uncle's place on 30th Chinese Lunar calendar

The typical CNY food served were
Shuin chow nga ku (leek fried arrow head)
Chu keok (pig's leg)
Ching Yu ( steam fish)
Chun Quen (pork roll)

and the highlight of the dinner was

A ROASTED PIG!!!

Yesss... you got it right, its a WHOLE ROASTED PIG (siu chu)....
I shot some pics of the process of cutting or more precise, chopping the chu.
Will upload as soon as i got the pics out of my phone...

Dinner of 1st day of CNY was at my "tai yi" house in Taman Desa.
Once again, makan lagi.
CNY is all about food.
Just cant imagine how CNY would be without food.
No food. No Chinese New Year.

Makan.. Makan..Makan..... till you're full and still makan!

Besides the main meal during dinner, cookies from those red jars are irresistible!

You name it, we have it.

First and foremost, of course the famous........ Fried "ngaku",
Honey hazel biscuits,
Peanut biscuits,
Green peas cookies,
Bee hive biscuits ( mai fung tou)
Fried ikan keropok from Kuantan aka my hometown,

Last but not least my favorita...... PINEAPPLE TARTssss!!!
which i really cant take my hands off the jar... EAting from home all the way to my aunt's house.

Its just so yummy.

Btw, what really tickles my taste buds wasn't the pineapple filling but the crust!!
The buttery taste just keeps me eating it.

Guess im gona look "healthier" or "fatt fook" after CNY.
But what the heck, its just once a year.

I'll just ignore the tummy for now and get rid of it after CNY!

Days of hell are finished.
And im still alive..
I know its kinda exagerated as if i survive a plane crash.

But dude, exams in advance diploma level ain't easy job.
I used to do 6 subjects in diploma level and still have time to play around and goyang kaki in mamak.

And now even with 4 subjects,don't fool fool or else
YOU'LL BE DEAD!

This shows the difference between advance diploma and diploma level.


Finally...
I can sit back and relax a lil before preparing for CNY.
Gota clean the whole spider web of mine a.k.a my house.
Clear my messy table after weeks of battle.
Pack my closet.
Wash the house toilet =(

AND OF COURSE...

Unload some tonnes of unwanted compounded "assets" of mine.
Phew.....
