This advertisement was found on top of the tv set.
Its the 1st thing that catches my eye once i entered the room!!

Bet you must be asking how good is the show??!
Sad to say, i did not go for it.

Though its a good eye exposure experience for a "good show"
But its just not the right time, especially when im with my mom.

Instead of going for the Russian good show, my mom and i when for a night walk after dinner.
Trying our best to hunt for good deals around the town.
Entering each shop as we walked, coming out with failed mission!

Like i mentioned earlier, Betong is much alike Ipoh.
There's nothing much along the street except for a few role of shops selling typical petaling street clothes and shoes.

As i walked along the street, i notice this......

These are lines of birds on the electric cables.
Im not sure if they're awake or sleeping but there were no motion at all.
Though this sight could be found in Yew Lek (Cheras), i've never taken the time to snap a pic of it till now!

With tired legs and countless window shoppings.

Betong, Thailand #1

Its a mommy-daughter bonding trip.
~
Frankly speaking, this trip is an AUNTIES TRIP!!
~
Mostly or i could say ALL....
the tourist in this trip were Ah Soh, Auntie, Ah Gu, Ah Poh and their daughters and grand-daughters.
~
At the very beginning, i thought i'll be going to Patong, Thailand!!
Imagining how *syiok* it wound be to spend time on beaches and ski ride!!
~
But MIS-COMMUNICATION HappenED!!!
Betong and Patong in Cantonese pronounce exactly the same!!
Getting only minimum info from my mom.
~
I ended up in Betong and NOT Patong!!
~
Darn FRUST!!
but i just gota accept the fact and TRY to have some fun.
~

Betong is located in most-Southern Thailand.
Thus, we cross the Malaysia-Thailand Border at Keroh, Perak.
Its Ipoh look alike with Ah Gua by the road.
Due to its location towards the boundary of Malaysia, transactions of purchases can be done in either Baht or Ringgit.

10Baht = 1MYR (correction)
~
Buying a can of Coke cost 16 Baht equivalent to MYR 1.60.
So, no big difference in purchasing power!!

As Thailand is always famous for its temple, that's the 1st destination we visited.
