If college has just started for a week and there's nothing much to do yet.
.
What would you suggest to do best??
.
Go for a movie?
.
Go for a buffet feast??
.
Go shopping???
.
Or more practical, window shopping??
.
The BEST thing i did in such situation during this weekend was this....
Besides saving money in my own not-so-full-of-money-pocket,
.
I also managed to learnt some good recipe in making boiled eggs.
.
Be it.....
1/4 boiled egg
or
1/2 boiled egg
or
3/4 boiled egg
and even
full BOILED EGGSss................
.
.
.
HERE'S THE RECIPE!!
.
.
.
Moreover, water and electricity used for boiling eggs are
FREE-OF-CHARGE
.
To be more precise, we don't even need electricity or stove to boil the eggs.
.
All we need is your eggs, i mean eggs you buy from the market.
.
Not your ovum eggs or testicle eggs =p
.
.
.
NATURAL HOT SPRING SOURCE
(MATA AIR PANAS)
.
is where i boiled eggs
.
.
.
.
.
.
Boiling eggs had never been so easy before!
.
.
.
Boiled eggs served with soy sauce.
.
.
.
.
A new way of spending your weekend! ;P

BOILING EGGS!

Kuantan the capital of Pahang
Just the last week before college resume i manage to sneak back to my hometown for a little break.
.
Away from the temporary job at KCP and away from the city.
.
Although Kuantan is the capital of Pahang, the life here is definitely LESS LESS tense here.
.
Even driving in Kuantan is less stressful here.
.
.
.
.
Going back to Kuantan would usually mean boredom to me.
.
Especially when i'll be going back once every few months for hols.
.
But this time, its different.
.
Totally different as my EX-colleague came along for a short break too.
.
.
.
Kuantan River Cruise was the 1st event of the trip.
.
At RM15 per pax, we cruise along the river with many interesting sight.
.
From fishing boats to fishing area and mangroove sites.
This boat were filled with lights to attract the 'sotong' (calamari) at night.
.
.
.
This is one of the boat accupied by a family, anchored by the river.
.
.
.
At one point along the river, we stopped by a site for sight seeing.
Its a paya bakau area
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Akar banir of the pokok bakau.
Its all above the soil.
.
.
.
.
The next destination was Sungai Lembing on the following day.
.
Sg. Lembing is located bout 40 km from Kuantan town.
.
It used to be lombong bijih timah, but now a village with very low population.
.
Most of the villagers has migrated either to Kuantan to seek a better living or to heaven.
Due to its location at he river bank.
Sungai Lembing has encountered a very bad flood back at the 1970's
The flood water did rose as high as the height of the red roof in the picture above.
.
.
.
.
.
Jambatan gantung connecting the Sg. Lembing town to its residential area.

Please advice me!!
Two years back I was at a cross road, figuring out if I were to go Johor for UTM or stay back in KL for TARC to futher my study.
I’ve decided back then.
TARC it is!
Staying in KL and close to my family.
I wander if I had made the right choice
I wander how would it be if I went for it
2 years passed……..
And now again, im at a cross road,
I have to make another decision.
A decision which will not make me look back and regret
A decision which will lead my future!
And most importantly,
A decision which I have to decide on myself!
I have 2 option, be it A or B I know my mom will surely support me.
Even if she does not comment much or don’t know what to comment, I know in her heart, im always her love.
So now…..
a) Should I go UK?
b) Should I not go UK?
Next month next year I’ll be in UK at this time, that if I go.
Some background for those who are still in the cloud of what im talking here.
My current college has a collaboration with the John Moores Liverpool University, UK.
They offer summer topup courses which will take place in June-September 2009
This course will allow me obtain a Degree in Business Management on top of the Advanced Diploma im taking now.
Of course, it sounds so fun and interesting to to study oversea.
United Kingdom that im talking about.
I could go for a Europe tour, meet some new friends and even get a handsome, good looking ang moh boyfriend there.
How sweet all these sounds.
But on top of all this, the main concern would be the PRICE TO PAY!
With my current savings, its way to go to make it to UK.
If I were to take a loan, will I be debt ridden when im back from UK??
Anyway, it’s a handsome price of RM40,000 that will cover everything in UK, inclusive of accommodation, flight ticket and tuition fees.
RM40,000 may not be a big sum but for me who comes from an average family with a single parent.
It’s a lot!
If I were to go, I have to get a loan, look for a financial aid.
If I do not go, I would be holding an Advanced Diploma ONLY and there may be chances or HUGE chances I’ll regret in future…
Im so in dilemma.
Argh.....
Should I GO or NOT GO?
HELP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HELP!!!
Any available financial aid for suggestion??
Or even BETTER if you want to give me an interest-free loan.
BEST of all, DO YOU WANT TO SPONSOR ME FOR THIS???
Hahahahhhhh….. =)
Please advice me!!

Round Island Snorkeling
At a reasonable price of RM315, the package include all meals (eat all you can), accomodation (quad sharing), to and fro boat transfer and.....
TWO snokerling session.
One of which was at the Marine Park Snorkeling which i have posted earlier and
the other one was Round The Island Snorkeling itself.
Getting ready to go on board for snorkeling.
Right hand~ with the equipment
Left hand~ MPH plastic bag with camera and towel
Always bring extra plastic bag for island trip to keep your stuff dry!
While waiting at the jetty for the boat
Self-shot =p
The background is so calm and beautiful
Rounding island in the boat
I don't know what's wrong with my body, it just couldn't stay vertical in water.
Probably my butt is not heavy enough
Just have to be horizontal.
Looking like a small kid in water
After snorkel, heading back to resort

Marine Park Snorkeling
It might sound surprising but this is truly my first trip to an island~ Redang
(that’s if I put Penang aside)
Its my first time snorkeling too.
An awkward feeling arise a week before I depart to Redang, just imagine if you were in my shoe.
Being the only stranger in a group of 20.
Being the only girl coming from a different college.
I understand its never easy neither it is very difficult to make new friends.
I’ve had a taste of such situation while I was in form 6, being the only girl from VI moved to MBS.
Anyway, I know I’ll surely regret if I did not go!
I've made a right decision.
Go Redang!!
On top of a wonderful vacation, I’ve made 17 new wonderful friends.
~
On the very first day after lunch, we had a round of snorkeling at the Marine Park.
There's where, biologist conduct marine researches with quite a plenty of fishes.
The distance from Redang Lang Tengah Resort to the Marine Park takes bout half an hour.
With the breeze from the sea, most of us end up falling asleep.
Arrival at the Marine Park
There were many other tourist from Lang Tengah and Redang who came to snorkel too.
Briefing session before going into water
Its not difficult to attract fishes to your feet,
as long as you have a few pieces of bread in hand.
Fishes in the crystal clear water
Breath taking corals
Bread feeding in the water attracted lots of fishes
The view of fishes swimming right in front of my eyes just left me speechless
~not that i can talk in water
I actually gulped in 2 mouth full of seawater
Darn salty!!
Photo shot after snorkeling
All salty wet but happy
Sea view from the boat, while going back to resort
happy*happy =)

.
And yes!! im the only TARCian there!!
Anyway, all of us mixed well
.
Reason why im the only tarcian there?
Well, its suppose to be my friend's architectural course's holiday trip and im just joining it as there's no such event organize in my current class (how sad)
.
I know pictures are always the anticipation of every trip,
i have tonnes of it....
So here it goes....
.
.
In the coach on the way to jetty
.
.
.
.
Early market walk after breakfast at Terengganu's Chinatown.
Terengganu's Chinatown is nothing compare to KL's
Its just a row of hawker stalls here and its called Chinatown~depressing
.
.
.
.
At the Jetty
Our mode of transport to the island
.
.
.
.
Snap shots of the gurls
Karen, Janette, Hui San, Han Chee, Chiou Yann, Jenny, Ee Wei
.
.
.
.
All in the trip
Total 20 pax (19 UTM + 1 TARC)
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
The pic above was take on the beach of the island upon arival
The water is just so clear that fishes from the ground can be viewed clearly
.
.
.
.
Redang Lang Island Resort is not the main Redang Island
Thus, its not too commercialised which means less pollution and less people
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Shadow in the island.
The sand is just as soft as flour
How wish my house is built on this serene island
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Attraction to my eye.
.
.
.
.
If i could have just bring along a book, its just prefect relaxation.
I did not, therefore its just a great relaxation =)
.
.
More updates of this trip, patient!
